Speaks of "All for Her" and "playing seconds" to the "Greatest Actor in the World (Henry Irving)." Speaks of the snobbishness of a Mr. K, who is only considered a gentleman because of his wife. He is glad that Hillary thinks so well of Hamlet, which he will be playing in Philadelphia on the 28th. Also discusses costumes for Othello and requests a sketch of scenes for the "Veiled Picture."

Sir Henry Irving (1838-1905) was a British actor-manager. Born Feb. 6, 1838, in Keinton Mandeville, Somerset, Eng., he died Oct. 13, 1905, in Bradford, Yorkshire.
